well, the second pic (blue) rocks. the colours in the first one seem very CG-ish; the flower seems kind of pasted on. with that much glow from the character, i'd be expecting to see some of it reflecting on the petals also. it could be a bit more contrasted also. anyhow, looking good :thumbsup:

Yes the blue pic seems to be better. But it's often easy to get a good result on a monochrome picture. With a little noise in colours and let's 50% less saturation on the green the first one could be better for me. Just my opinion, you know.
Anyway it's a great environment.

Very nice. Quite gorgeous.
I personally think polys don't really matter all that much in a still pic like this, so I would'nt worry, plus it looks like it's just been smoothed a few times over for a nice render.
