MistaT 12-28-2003, 12:47 AM sorry, i think it's a frequently asked question.. but i need your opinion please, i'm currently working on videoclip productions and i want to buy a new camera (to increase picture quality mainly..) but i don't know wich one to choose: a CANON XL1 S .. or a SONY VX2100..
i don't have a big budget so i hope someone can help me telling wich one is the best for that kind of work (i don't want to make a mistake)

hem.. anyone? i think i'm gonna get the sony vx2100.. but i hoped someone haved it to tell me if it's a good choice....
Have you concidered the Panasonic AG-DVX100? It is an excellent camera, being used quite a bit in production lately, and has excellent progressive scan support. In the same price range, I've seen 'em go for as low as $3K.. Also the very keen thing, it will shoot in 24p. I know it doesn't help narrow things down, but it's well worth checkint out.

Then you MOST definitely want the DVX100 camera.
Progressive scan 24p modes, very professional quality.
I have 2 of them. They are fantastic.
A good forum for the DVX100 is at www.dvxuser.com
