I'm breating a fishtank in maya, and i am wondering how to use caustic lighting to mimic the light works in a real tank, i was wondering if anyone has some sdvice/ any good tutorials. Thanks for any help u provide me.:bounce:

For "real" caustics you'll have to use Mental Ray. Here are two tutorials to unterstand how to use them:

I hope you have time enough because it takes a lot of it to render.

Alternatively you could try to simulate caustics by some projecting spotlights. I never did, but IMO that should work.
