 COOL:cool:
Man i just have to say that those are the best matching expressions facially, bodily, everything!
all you need in a character is character. Even though my critical side lacks experience of comparing i'll say that kind of expression sync and realisim (no matter how unrealistic the character may be) is what is needed most in the character animating feild. and you've got the gift:thumbsup:

Jason, I want to tear it apart I really do, but you keep getting better with each animation. :)
the only thing that I can suggest is maybe a little more exageratted movement when he pulls back in shock/disgust on the phrase "murdered?". It's seems a little sluggish.
cheers

great stuff...
I remeber your "jive turkey" post, and you just keep getting better. Do you do the modelling as well?

Oh I like this. He really appears to be thinking. Very good job. I love the eye twitches at the end. Adds that extra little something for the thought proccess (Pixar inspired?).
I only have two crits. The first is when he reacts to the girl saying "have been murdered". I think the 'suprised' reaction should happen a little sooner. Now it's like he's not really paying attention while he's sniffing the carrots then all of sudden, he is thinking about what she said. It reads fine...I just think the attention should change from the carrots to the woman pretty quickly after she says, "Have been murdered". His reaction is great, but a little delayed for that kind of reaction. IMHO. :)
The second is some of the phonems are a little hard to spot. That may be because you're trying to incorporate them into a snout, which could be difficult to do (never done a snout before). For instance, I was scrolling through the end, and the 'p' in poor and the 'b' in beastly was not obvious to spot.
The second one is a little nitpicky but, hey, if I had to get down to that detail, it's a solid spot!!
I think it's great!!

Very cool!
One comment; when he says "murdered?!" and looks up, I think the expression you animated is much better than the actual voice, I mean, the voice doesn't sound as suprised as your character looks. It's not your bad, but if the task was to make that soundclip come to life, maybe you should make him.. less surprised. Am I making sense? :p If you look at the clip without sound, and the sound with the clip I think it's pretty obvious :)
Just a bit too strong reaction from the bear, otherwise very nice animation and subtleties in his expression.

Awesome stuff taylor! I've been a fan of your animations since I found out about the 10 second club. When ever I want a good laugh I just watch your "toast" animation. :applause:
BTW has the 10 second club changed its web address? My link has been dead for a long time.

Great job, Jason! This month's competition has been a bit confusing, huh?
I'm not sure I like the second shot, I think you should've animated one shot, from an angle placed between the 2 cameras you've used, instead of having 2 shots.

Great job taylor! I mean it. It made me want to see more.
You had a lot of little detail in there that really brought character in to the bear. Really nice job. I'd like to see more of your animation.
[edit:] After I had posted this, I went your web site. And sure enough, I have seen some of your work...cookie blues! Keep up the good work.
