LightWave 3D 7 Character Animation
LightWave 3D 7.5 Lighting
Essential LightWave 3D 7.5, The Fastest Way to Learn LightWave
LightWave 3D 8: 1001 Tips & Tricks (Feb/Mar 2004)

You might think this person was a Colonel Pioneer, Professor, or Bishop…but they are not. You might even think this person was knighted or recited Shakespeare…but again no…

They are however a very accomplished award winning CG artist and has done a lot over the last 8 + years. This persons dream is for knowledge to be shared.

Hint: This person's nick name was based on a bread and you may have seen his LightWave training video.

please email all answers to me at wbeckwith@wordware.com

Tell you what, this will make it fun for everyone...

I will answer yes no questions as long as it does not include a " is it "this person"...type question.

What?!? That is it?!? So short?!? I didn't even see this and it is over (I was gone)!

Just kidding... :p I guess someone else could make better use of those books.
The only ones that interest me are "The Creation of Ghost Warrior" (what I've seen till now looks awsome!) and I could probably also make some use of the 1001 Tips & Tricks book.

It's really nice of you to make these compititions... I hope who ever gets these books makes good use of them.

Way to go JS,

maybe JS could write a new book on how to win contests like these.

it sure was fun, i kept doing google searches, i got most of the lightwave community that did videos but Proton never showed up.

where is that link for that interview by the way. Might as well read up a bit and intensify the wattage to my lightbulb.

Hehehehee

Thanks pblacklock. :buttrock:

Here's the link that won the contest for me.

William "Proton" Vaughan (http://www.cgnetworks.com/story_custom.php?story_id=456&page=) :buttrock:

Since I won 2 copies of the Tricks and Tips book I donated the second one back so Wes can give it away again.

Cheers,
JS

Yes it was fun. Thanks again Wes and Wordware.

I learned a lot about the many talented Lightwave artists out there. It makes you feel good that there are so many talented Lightwavers out there but it also makes you want to work harder to achieve some of the success they have.

Keep on wavin'.

Merry Christmas to all.

Cheers,
JS

Me too, but hey. At least I got Starfleet Command 3 from that other one :)

Maybe I should hide my PC's power cord for the next week so I could actually enjoy the holiday...in any case, Merry Yule (teehee, "I know fancy words") to all of you :)

The problem is that day isn't at the same time everywhere around the world. :)

Also many times we have other things we need to do away from the computer, work or home.
