Looks cool, tho the details are seemingly lost in the low-res pics. Can you post some larger ones?

Hey, very cool. Reminds me of the Myst series. Only crits would be to perhaps add more detail to the sand. Maybe use a subtle displacement map and a lot of geometry. I guess what I'm trying to say, is to tie the towers(?) more to the sand surface. Sand collected around the supports or something.
Nice work, dude. Can't wait to see more.

i like the night time one, but the shadows seem a little off on all 3 pics, especially the night, i think more can be done there -
the sharpness of the shadows in the daytime pic is from a raytraced shadow right?

Hahahaha...at last, some person replies my post:)
Thank 3DZealot and edaddy, because you give me some good advices. But my work is very busy these days, so...maybe I have no time to adjust the texture, shadow and anything else...of course, I will modify it after this time.
You know, I am a new man in CG, so there should have many mistakes in my works, i hope that you point out my mistakes, and i'll thank you for that.
Thank 3DZealot and edaddy again.
My English is not good, hope that you can read to understand my meaning.

Nice spheroids.
as 3dZealot said, just try on some displacement map on a nurb surf (or with vRay, disp mod is my last discover since I thought there was certainly a guy behind the whole mess of our universe ;) ) on your sand.
The effect is immediately pushing up your image without so much efforts (being a 3d artist means being lazzy so often).
Like on this one :

or this one (sorry for the poor grass compositing)

64bit procedural textures in max rocks for bump and displ. ;)
Not an edit mesh, only displacement map on sand.

The night scene needs some work, daytime looks good, and the dawn pic is suberb! i love it. Great job overall.
