View Full Version : TraxEditor animation problem !!!!!!???
digital_n 12-18-2003, 04:37 PM I have made a part of a walkcycle
I want to make the whole walkcycle (for about 150 frames) in the TraxEditor!But when i make second clip as a relative clip (For continuation of walking instead of return to 0) Animation is become clumsy!

What do you mean? Did you make the cycle, now you want it to repeat for 150 frames? can't you just select it in the Trax and cycle it a few times, the cycle attribute should be there.

I add my dopesheet/traxx editor question here:
I heard many people avoid traxx-editor (I have not used itr yet so I donīt know why?) but it should lack controll
so is there any repaeat or loop function also in the dope sheet or are all this things are bound to the traxx editor (what would make sense : )
anyhow a silly question, but perhaps there are people knowing how to stay in the dopesheet or in the graph and using funcitions as relativity and looping

Of-course you can set post infinity to cycle with offset in graphic editor, which will give relative relationship as in trax. You have to do it for all the fcurve participating in your walk cycle.
But if you have problems in trax with loops, then you may experience the same problems with loops in graphic editor.
To make a perfect loop, your 1st keyframe should be exactly as your end keyframe otherwise the difference will be exagerated after several loops.
