View Full Version : Spline rendering

I've just started to learn Lightwave and I have a little question:
How can I render splines? I draw a few hairs with a spline tool but it does not show in Layout at all. And if I can't render spline how can I convert it to two point polygons?
The only way I could find is selecting Bevel tool, clicking RMB, then delete polygon so I'd have only 2 point polygons left.

and download CurveToPolychain plugin. Unfortunatly LW cant render splines.

Uvlekalsya mifologiei kogda-to. Daje stranichka bila po slovyanskim bogam i simvolam. Zabrosil.

Da nado bi, prosto vremeni ne bilo (slishkom mnogo raboti). Ya celiy den za komputerom, vecherom prihozu domoy ne tolko LighWave - Mail net sil proverit.
Vot poslednuyu nedelu chut vremia poyavilos tak ya v etom forume sizu.
Zal chto bolshe net character challenge, seychas les delaut- ne interesno. Kak naschet tvoih rabot , mozno posmotret gde-to?

This plugin is neat. You sketch your splines in your model. You create a generic "tube" part that is well segmented.
Add the tube part to layout as many times as you need for each spline. Invoke the plugin as an object deformation and voila, "rendered" splines.
