Hi all,
I’m experiencing with GI in Mental Ray; I’m studying the Energy(RGB)’s attribute of the photons in the light attribute in the Mental Ray section; I’ve noticed that, as the attribute name implied, for high values the GI is more stronger, but I don’t understand the relationship between the rgb and the three attribute fields; I mean, I’ve tried to place different values in the three fields, but I’ve only noticed that the more high field’s value lead the energy. Is it so?
Have you experienced some standard value for certain standard value for certain light conditions (for example a bright room or a cloudy day)?
