Just a Newbie question.
I am interested to try facial animation with bones but in fact I haven't no idea about the way i could begin.So I wonder if you guys could help me. As a matter of fact I'd like to know how many bones I have to use and where I have to place them...

There isn't a set standard set of bones that ever character should have, it all depends on how the model/geometry is laid out.
Remember that what you are trying to achieve is geometry/mesh deformations with bones, as apposed to trying to move the geometry/mesh with bones.
The Monte mpg above uses a splines based bone system to deform the lips.
The Gif image from Project Messiah above gives a pretty good overview of bone placement in the Mesh. The Blue Bones are Muscle bones, they displace Geometry in more of a squash and stretch fashion. There are also several other bones placed at key spots to hold the geometry from Deforming.
