Looks like the guys at Boeing are at it again.....Anyone remember William Fetter? He was the boeing engineer who coined the term "computer graphics" in the 1960's.

Well the original research was presented a few SIGGRAPHs ago actually. And it's not Curvy, but it's actually called Teddy. Or well, the newest version is called Smooth Teddy.
