Sorry to hear you are discouraged by this site.

I do have to apologize. Work has been really hectic lately so I havent been keeping up with this forum like I should.

I do know how you feel though. When I started posting stuff on Sijun a year or so ago I was lucky to get one or two responses.

I just kept on posting and taking the advice I did get. Just because people are not replying to your work does not mean they arent looking at it.

In this field it is very easy to become discouraged and say F--- it all. The people who achieve are the ones who take criticism, or lack of it, and use it to become better.

Keep posting! People will respond. Sometimes it just takes awhile.

While I know how you feel, and I understand, I think there's no point in being disapointed.

Just look around: there many great artists arund here, and they draw attention. It's just natural that more people will pay attention to them.

But remember that if you give up, you will never improve. Post your art, make it visible to other people. You never know when you will have a very popular piece in your hands. And take the advice and critics to your improvement, never to your shame.

I've also noticed that this may not be the crowdiest forum online, but people treat each-other very well here. I haven't seen a flame war here ever! And I've been visiting this site for 2 months now.

I saw your image a few days ago and was looking forward to seeing it progress. Sometimes, I hold back comments at the beginning stages of a work, because I like to see how the artist will develop it.
I agree with the others in respect to this forum...you have to be a little patient, but I've found this to be a friendly forum and the people here give good suggestions

My solution to this problem: when i have some freetime i surf through the forum and look for posts with 0,1 or 2 replies or a few visits. if they're interesting and i got something to say, i do it.

And you won't believe how much treasures are hidden in this forum :applause:

Oh man I feel stupid. You guys are right, I sincerely and pubicly apologize. Should I chalk it up to a bad day? Nah thats a lame excuse, the real reason is because I am inherently impatient with people I can't see I guess. Get jealous seeing all those other posts and responses.

Well if you all don't mind me coming back with my tail between my legs, forgive and forget I hope. I will be happy to post my progress on this piece, if I don't get replies I definatley understand.

Showing up and acting like an ignored kid certainly isn't my typical behaviour, and again I re-iterate my apology and bad spelling as well.

I will start a new thread and let this one die out.
