I have an animation set up where a box of crackers falls over and spreads crackers across the floor. I used instanced geometry on particles to make it easy for the crakers to spread. The issue i am running into is in doing a basic projection map in renderman It will not allow me to project a texture onto the instanced geometry. It will only take directly attached shaders. I can't seem to make the shader work by itself (The image file swirls and looks horrible) The projection map works perfect but won't work on the instanced geometry. Is there a way around this with out having to not use instanced particles? The solution needs to be within prman to as this is a renderman project. Please help.
