Cool, my only crit would be, the bricks feel a little too big.

Good job. I suggest that your foliage, trees and ferns are to repetative, provide some differences as the eye quickly notices the pattern.

The windows don't look like they open and there are no roof leaders, eaves or whatever to deal with rain.

Zukum: the windows donīt actually open, and those details on the roof were not provided by the architect.. so I didnīt invent them :)
About the ferns... they are the only ones Iīve got here... so.. it is kinda repetitive... :)

got some questions here for u...

1. is that mental ray 3 gi in the pic or did use another.

2. do you have fast machine to run max 6?

I'd like to get max 6, but I won't if it'll just mean putting up with a slower 3d app

1- I did not use mental ray for this picture... its the standard max lighttracer..

2- this scene was mede on an Athon 1.4 ghz with 1gb of ram and 3dmb VGA... not the fasteste computer ever.. :)

Lovely, too much similarity between your foilage though, and it's a little too apparant that a lot of box modelling has gone on. Sometimes, just a little bit of displacement mapping can make things look more realistic

I totaly agree with you... if the design was a little more interesting, the picture would be much better...
but Iīm not sure who designed it...
