Hi there

this is the first time I post my art here, and this is also my first seriouse attempt at CG art...

I used mouse in PS7 to paint over a scanned sketch. The background is without reference though...

id like some tips on how to make the foliage and fur look more real/better, and of course som general C&C

Hi BeaverFlens,

I like the concept! he bear has a good deal of character already.
There's a good tutorial on painting fur: (Painting Llama Fur (http://www.asurfael.net/tutorials/fur/) ) that's pretty much the same as most fur tutorials out there. Essentially building from dark to light. using varied strokes as you go.

Post some updates as you go along!

ok, thanks for the tip

I did a test but it was hard to do with a mouse...
next week ill get a wacom, and then I can start working :)
