If you'd want to make it a bit more realistic, try adding more details (flaps, bulges, antennas, rivets, etc) and visible joints between the different features.

Right now it looks like a toy plane, but I get the feeling that was your intention. =)

Can you describe how you achieve the Chrome look in the engines and cockpit?

One of the best chrome renders I have seen.

I will add some more detail! Although I wasn't going for a high-detailed plane, some antennas and wheels won't hurt.

The chrome is a standard Brazil Chrome on the default settings. And a white, self illuminating plane-object hovering above the plane for the white reflections.

Something makes me think that water would be a better element for this kind of thing than the air ... But that's just me ...

Them reflections are deliciously crisp.

Looks good, I love your blue flame textured one. I agree, this looks more like a watercraft than air. Also, I'm not particularly fond of the nose of the craft.

[dutch]..he, ik heb een vraagje. Jij zegt dat die chrome gewoon de brazil chrome is emt default settings. Maar als ik dat op een object gooi krijg ik nooit zulke resultaten. Bij mij ziet het er altijd volop crappy uit.
Het lijkt dan niet eens op chrome.
is het de manier waarop je rendert ofzo?
Nu gebruik ik meestal een carpaint of chrome te faken, maar dat werkt niet altijd.
