Here are three spots that I did for the crew at www.ok47.com.

These were my first real projects, so the quality increases by the third spot.

The second one was great. LMAO!! I especially liked the anim job you did on the dance steps. That was great!!

The third one I only got sound. No video. Might be just my end though.

to put it simply...those were great! :)

Were you using MAX and CS?

BgDM: The third video used Sorenson3 instead of regular ol' Sorenson, so that may have been the problem. It has just been re-encoded though, so it should rock out on your system now.

Taoizm: Yeah, MAX + CS. There was a pretty tight deadline, so I had to mix in some stock moCap to get the job done. There were so many other things to worry about (how to get a fireball, how to get grass, how to render it all, how to recover corrupt files) to allow for enough time to keyframe all of the motion.

Hey Andrew! What took you so long in getting here? Long time no see mate. Love the spots. How's life been treating you?

Good to see you're still alive, and welcome to CgTalk.

I can honestly say that the 2nd one was funny, but the 3rd one was the best... the robot superimposed sitting on santas lap made me laugh the hardest I have in a long while! Great job man, keep up the great work!

Çå®ßöñ: CS is character studio.

Urg: Hey bro! It's funny to cross paths with you again! Did you ever animate your bot? That thing was tight! I've been working on a lot of stuff like those ok47 clips. I've got about 3 or 4 really bizarre pieces full of abstract symbolism (think giant cities assembling themselves from a mushroom cloud), I've just got to compile them into one piece. So things have been busy...just the way I like it!

Nope, it's neither finished, nor aniamted :D Still tweaking it. I've been doing mostly lowpoly stuff lately. I'm looking forward to your symbolical compilation :)

Glad to hear you're having a good time. Where are you working now?

Pascal: Thanks for the exposure! I think everyone in that thread thinks it's one of your animations though...haha! (d'oh!)

Urg: I'm still workin' at Helios. We've been doing a pretty hardcore portal site at http://www.okflavor.com ....totally worth checkin' out. I've been working on a motion reel for them for a few months now though. The reel is more of an animated short rather than a montage of work, so I've been going mad in 2d/3d land. Also, if you see the new Traffic 2-disc DVD release from Criterion, I worked a lot on that too (all 2d though). That's cool that you're doing lo-poly work. Is it for games, or just for the lo-poly style? Either way, you'll always be master-of-the-meshsmooth. The way hardware is going nowadays, in a few years there won't even be such a thing as lo-poly in games any ways, so long live the sub-d's.

Also, credit goes to http://www.cypheraudio.com/ for bombin' the bass on the audio mix.
