_THE_RenderMan_ 12-14-2003, 09:52 PM I made this image just for fun... I wanted to see if I could create a thing like this.
It's based on a concept of Hawkprey.

it might be mt eyes or an optical illusion but the barrel of the cannon looks weird/ not parrallel with the top of the tank. The only other thing is the wheels arent grounded. It appears to be floating.
i agree with pure fire
but man...awesome texturing work!!!the model and lighting are also really great
nice job:thumbsup:
this looks really great. i think pure fire is right about the grounf but I think the barrel looks correct. i do think you should consider a differnt floor. maybe a nice rough looking cemment. The plane green runs the feeling of strength and scale for me. I think this could make it to the front page but I do think the render could use some slight changes

Looks wonderfull ! :
The thing that struck me right away is that the BG is somehow taking away from the awesome work you've done . Maybe submersing it in a kinda desert type environment would really put the finishing touches on the whole shot .
The model render alone is extremely interesting . Thanks for mentioning the apps used . Very important , I think .

WOW :D I didn't expect so much positive replies to my work. Thank you.
About the radiosity settings???? I didn't use radiosity.
I used (4) omni lights with different colors (soft shadow).
And about the "weird" barrel and the floating wheels..
The barrel is correct this way and the wheels ain't floating. (I checked it ;)
But I have to admit that I should work on the "floating" wheels.
They look indeed as if they're floating. (thnx for your comment :))
And what you all say about the BG... I know... but I'm not good at it.. I might try to create a hanger...
Well... thanx for your comments  I'll try to make those adjustments.

Extraordinary textures man!
I really like them!
Also a good job in modeling!
I think that the upper part is a little big for the set!
Great work although
Keep it up!
