Very cool car, is it yet to be available, or is it just not available in America? Looks cool, good job.

That's a great model, but the car as a whole looks a little stretched lengthways, especially the bonnet. I'm probably wrong, since I'm more used to seeing the 206 in rallies.

Everett, I've seen Peugot 206's in rally races, I meant I wasn't familiar with the model! :)

the model looks great, the rendering is great too...just seem to have problems with the background. If you can make it a smooth gradient fall off...and perhaps a darker shadows on the model.
otherwise is cool

Great, really great!!
I wonder what The Ripper thinks of it. He is The Master, you know ...

Can we see it in another colour?
There's so many metallic cars already.

Are these good cars? I mean excuse me if my question if it seems, off color. But do they have a repution of being good cars. I might have to go to Mexico and buy one hehe, I think they look cool. To bad it only has 110HP.

Looking great. I would also like to see wireframes :).

Just a few notes to modeling - you still need to model rain whipers and I don't see brake discs nor brakes inside rims ;). And yes backgroung would be much nicer if you can render with more smooth gradient.

Good modeling, I like it. :)

You should work on the reflection(Fresnel effect), Lighting.

Keep on.

This render done with Lightwave.

JacquesD

That's really better but I think you should push the reflection a bit more at the high of the incidence angle.
The left headlight glass(camera view) looks a bit weird too.

That's my opinion though.

What map did you use for the environment BTW?.

Keep on. :)

Joril
06-18-2002, 07:25 PM
Thanks for adding the colour

MarcinCGB
06-20-2002, 03:37 PM
thanks The Ripper. You right
I push the the reflection more of the inc angle. look better :)
I no use enviroment map, only gradint backdrop and flat box with bitmap texture.

i mean this one with the indian guy, who "manufactures" his own 307 from a historic peugeot with hammer, welding torch and... elephant ass (!) *loooool* i love this spot...

challenge: try to mesh out the buckled surface ;) like the car in the spot (meant not quite serious ;) )

307 is a great car.

The model is great, lots of detail.

I thought there would be more european cars in USA, Peugeot is quite common in Spain also.

Realy nice render of 307. By the way I like that peugeot 307. Looks like 206 but bigger.

Back lights are strange. But everything else ok.

try now to put that model in scene...
