kentish 12-14-2003, 04:11 PM this is a character that i've been working on its all modelled with XSI and was going to be an animation but that might not happen now.
I have also modelled a body for her but the proportions are all wrong so i will have to redo them.
just basically wanting any critique anyone can give me.

Cut&paste works.
Not a bad start, but use a different reference picture, I can instantly tell that you are using the Angelina Jolie pic for the side view. That picture is bad, since it isn't completly from the side and looking downwards.
Also make the lips more like normal lips please (they look to much like that strange Angelina Jolie picture too :( )
Don't get me wrong, I think A.J. is hot, but that picture isn't a good reference picture.
But if you fix the mouth and the distance between the mouth and the nose (too long) you got a quite good model.
Have a look at the wire depot over at

actually the pic reference is a japanese singert called ayumi hamisaki. I see what you mean about the lip area though its a part that i've had quite a bit of trouble with and still needs a lot of work
