I don't know if this is a common bug or not so I will just describe it. Basically whenever I'm using Maya and I have the outliner open I get a strange bug where my marquee shows up in the wrong place. For instance I go to select a group of polygons and I draw a marquee around them but instead of it folowing the cursor the marquee is drawn a few inches to the right. Wierd. Remember this only happens when the outliner is open. Can anyone give me a clue about what's wrong I'd apreciate it.

I sometimes get what d3v1n is talking about. Haven't found anyway to fix it except to reboot.

Could we get some more information?

Mac or PC? Windows or Linux? Maya version? Hardware specs, and more precisely the GFX card (+ it's driver version)?

i don't experience the marquee problem - but the no names showing up in hypergraph is well known - can't remember if this only happens with nvidia cards

let me throw in this one that bugs me since day one

i've placed the attribute editor on my second monitor - when i import a shader and sometimes on other occasions too the attribute editor window is repositioned to a default position on my first monitor

maya doesn't remember its position on startup either - so is there a way to fix this - or is there a way to position the attribute editor window on screen with a mel command?

typically it would be done by : window -e -width 100 - height 100 windoname;

the only problem i have right now is to get the name of the AE window :) but i keep trying

Hmmm, strange, as that's just the setup I've been using for ages too. Could you tell me the driver version you're using for your geforce? I suppose you're using detonators?
