Maybe somebody could help me out here,
i want too texture just like in this tutorial.
tutorial (http://www.computerarts.co.uk/tutorials/type/stage2.asp?id=23265&stage=6&page=0)
It is a good tutorial but i doesn't explain how too apply it in 3d studio max r4, because it is a tutorial in general. I know how to render it from the different viewports with alpha images for right, left, front, and top view, so i can paint them in photoshop. I also know how to apply a single map with a planar uvw map to my object, but then i only have one good mapped side of my object. So wath i need to know is how to combine those multiple texture maps in max on one single object. I know properbly there are going to be seams on it ,and i wonder how to get rid of them in max.
I already tried texporter, but the wireframe rendering got real messy and couldn't function as a guide in photoshop.
Thanx in forward
