Does anyone know how to get a Maya cloth animation out of Maya using FBX & then import it into Lightwave using FBX again.
I seem to be having difficulty baking the cache.

any ideas would be greatly appreciated

FBX does not export mesh dynamics. The only way I know to get mesh dynamics into Lightwave is to export an .obj sequence or use The Beaver Project to export a Lightwave Motion Designer file.

Mark Wilson from Passion Pictures is going to release the "Point Oven Full", it letīs us bake deformations in Messiah/LW or Maya and import them in all this 3 packages, according to him it will be $50, cheap cheap cheap

He released "Point Oven Lite" for free, itīs a Messiah plugin, u can read more about it in here:
