Hello,I'm looking for a quadro graphic card in the next 2-3 days.
I checked many sites and don't understand why Quadro FX 1100 is cheaper than Quadro FX 1000.
Comparing the two there are many things that I don't know what they actually do, but I see that FX 1000 has a 8 pixels per clock rendering engine while FX 1100 has a 4 pixels per clock rendering engine...
So what FX 1100 is intended to be while it's newer than FX 1000?
I have a budget of around $1000 to put on graphic card.
I'm using Max 5 & Maya 5 and since I'm basically a modeler, I don't think I'm going to benefit from CG language at all.
The most important thing for me is which one can handle heavy models smoother.(both in wireframe mode and shaded mode)
My workstation is a Dual Xeon 2.6 GHz on a SuperMicro X5DAE mobo.
What's your idea?
Thank you for your time.
