Hi
I already posted it in the texturing forum, but got no reply so I want to try it here as well!
I'm using mayaman to render with Renderman (with the 'render as subd. option enabled). The problem is that my bump is shown incorrect at vertices where more than 4 edges come together. It also looks like the subdwireframe is used as a bump or something. here's a picture to explain:

I hope somebody can help me solve this
thanks alot!
regards
Frank

could you post a rendered image without the bump? The wireframe on the bump makes absolutelly no sense.

I'm having same problems with bump here. It looks like the wireframes affect the bumps as said ffrankjuh.

Have you tested to enable " Subdiv texture coords use 'varying' "?

You can find it on a Model MayaMan node, under subdivision surface. It has fixed some of my subdiv texturing problems (using MayaMan and PRMan)
