CGTalk - DF403a Error Message

View Full Version : DF403a Error Message - Crash?

Hi i have just reloaded DF4 on a new system (XP Pro)
And downloaded the 403a patch. However DF4 is crashing on me,

When i enter the preferences and click on AVI, i envoke a error
before DF4 exits. Same error can be invoked by adding a saver.....

Anyone else? I have just sent an Email to Eyeon's tech support,

And knowing how good there tech support is, i'm guessing they will have sent me an Email reply already......

But decided to post here as well, in case it's something stupid i'm doing.... (usually is) And no i'm not running WinICE or SoftICE

The Error is as follows:

"Debugger Detected - Please Close it down and Restart

Windows NT users please note that having the WinICE/SoftICE
service installed means that you are running a debugger"

Anyone else?

Maybe get the 4.03b patch and see if your prob goes away. The patch was released yesterday (9th) and contains a huge amount of fixes.

Yep just saw it.... DL it now........

Funny thing is, i nearly said "knowing Eyeon they will most likely make an update and fix the problem before i post this anyway....

And they did!!! Ya gotta love it...

They constantly win my double thumbs up you rock award, for fantastic support & service...

It's really nice to see that companies still believe in customer service, friggin incredible, well done to the Eyeon team for always been on the ball!!
