hi folks,
as i'm doing max-script since around 3 hours, don't mind my beginner-question:
i want to rename imported shapes.
i`ve made a script, that imports shapes from .ai files, but i always get the name duplicate window. how can i avoid this? #noprompt obviously doesn't affect this.
all imported shapes are named shape***, around 50 per .ai - file. after importing, they are moved a little bit and shapes from each file are grouped. before or after grouping i want to insert the rename- function. how can i do this?
another question is: what code do i need to import a sequence of files named test***.ai?
