Question:

I have a 4 pt poly, rotated on the Z axis a little bit. When I Stencil Drill a circle from the background layer, which is verticle on the Y axis, and then bevel my stencil, my results end as a sheared circle. How does one go about getting a even bevel in this case? I will try to attach a low res screen grab of what Im trying to explain. Thanks for help in advance.

Could you perhaps give us a more detailed pic?

The problem is you're stenciling a poly at an angle. TO get it how you want you should probably extrude your circle a bit, then rotate it so that it's aligned with your 4 point poly, and move it so it intersects it too. Then instead of using drill, use solid drill. This should fix the stenciled shape.

a thousand thanks. Extrude and solid drill kept a even bevel for me. I will have to spend some time to look through the book and note the difference of drill to solid drill. thanks again.
