View Full Version : Is a version of Lightwave 8 out?

Hi everyone.. I was at a show yesterday evening and ran into someone running LW8. This kid looked like he could barely afford clothes much less LW so I am figuring it wasn't legit. That led me to wondering if this was a leak or did NewTek release LW8 to certain people?

Just curious.

That sounds pretty dodgy...

You should drop Deuce Bennet a line, he's the beta co-ordinator for LightWave - perhaps they have a way of tracing it.

This is Newteks new advertising strategy. LW`s new character tools. Easy to use, even for a kid ;)

Just as a heads up....Jonny Gorden and Andy Bishop are showing LW8 this week...Andy Today and Jonny Yesterday I think

Not an official type show.. Just a bunch of wannabe game developers and Artists that get together every couple of months at a coffee shop near the college.

proton, when is LW[8] officially coming out? I wanna get it right when it comes out. :) (I own 6.0 and 7.0, plus all the updates inbetween and 7.5c) :buttrock:
