Today we released Blender 2.65!

Highlights:



New Fire Simulation and usability and performance improvements for the smoke simulator
Cycles: Support for custom shaders in Open Shading Language, Motion Blur, Anisotropic Shader, Normal Maps and more!
Modelling: Reworked Bevel Tool and new Symmetrize Tool, also a new Laplacian Smooth and Triangulate Modifier and improved Decimator.
More than 200 bug fixes and several smaller features

Great work as usual, loving the Game Engine additions, especially video textures. It's a nice effect, used well in Pyschonauts.

Great work as usual from the Blender Team.
OSL shaders, 200 bug fixes, Fire & Smoke upgrades & more.
Very nicely done from a team of volunteers who are approachable, helpful & resourceful.

I hope the "for money" software companies are looking at this and realizing they'd better up their game.

the fire addition is awesome........ I have followed Blender development from the very first days and is realy inspiring to see how far this exceptional project has come......

I hope very soon i'll come up with something amazing created mainly with Blender where I can put all the great tools to work......
