i just saw this thread so i am gonna add my WIP and hope for some crits etc..
good luck to everyone :
MY concept is "10 Downing street" , kinda iconic and i am gonna create a futuristic twist on it by creating a robot to guard the door instead of the normal policeman..

You know, the image needs something more - like a kitten for the guard to interact with. Or a kid playing with him, so he's not just standing there ;).

I like the cat too. Needs more interaction on robots side, tho - like he's trying to chase the cat away, or pet it, or play with it... Other crits I have:
- the feet - they are IMHO way too bright, and steal attention from everything else. Shouldn't it be the opposite way - brighter on top, darker on the bottom?
- shouldn't there be a curb? Now the sidewalk is on one level with the street, but even the texture suggests otherwise.

This is just a general message to everybody in the forums to remember to upload their deliverables to the Challenge engine (http://challenge.cgsociety.org/ten). Only 2 days to go!
Please ignore this message if you already have. :)
Good luck, Mike
