took 17h 20min 49sec to render at my 2,6 pentium IV :rolleyes:

looks good so far, but i think the edges on top are too sharp!

I haven't gotten the sampling down on it. Besides the sharp edge on yours, it beats mine by a long shot!
And wow... 17 hours, for a single glass. That's just... wow.

Looks as if the side of the glass don't have any thickness. I like how the light goes through the glass though.
that is the first picture i was talking about.
the second that you have looks very nice indeed.

Well, i like this picture.
The sharpness is a god contrast to the smoth light.

Nice render! to see the upper edge better, try get some more reflections in there.....a HDR map maybe....
17 hours...thats a lot...what are your settings?

nothing to add exept what the others said, but your rendertime is waaaaay too long :surprised
i know that brazil is not that fast as vray is, but this is a very poor speed, even for brazil. be sure that you did not waste power caused by settings you do not need, esp. reflection depths etc.
btw: nice atmo and lighting
