Hi guys
Sometimes in Maya I get screen tearing - it's very visible and very distracting although only happens momentarily. Really I'm just paranoid of it being detrimental.
It occurs sometimes when my FPS skyrockets to 300+.
Almost feels like I need vSync!
Here's some system information, graphics card may be particularly useful to know. This is a new build so I can't relate to previous OS' or hardware / software configurations really.
So here goes, anything useful I'll provide:
- Maya 2012 SP2
- Windows 8 Pro 64-bit
- Nothing is overclocked except the video card which is a factory OC
- i7 3770 3.4ghz CPU
- 8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM (LP I think, since it's a bitfenix prodigy case)
- nVidia Geforce GTX 660 2GB Superclocked
Ask if there's anything I forgot to mention. Thanks guys.
