so this is my work so far.

Impressive amount of animation you've got there - nice job! I'm not sure what's going on though, could we have some context?

I will have to redo the eddit (it is too fast)
Story:
tired agent is going back home when he notice that someone is in there. So he will do what he can best. And he will do it to TEN animals (3 mices, 3 rabbits, 3 hamsters and 1 mole). It should be just weird killing movie. Something like "cat shit One".

Storywice I hope that the narrtor woice will hold it together.

Hahaha I love the smile on the gunmas (gunmouse?) face. Makes him look totally deranged, like there's nothing more fun then killing everybody in sight...

Just more animation.

From Now on I will do some minor tweeks (hands feets tails blinks) but as whole this is it.

There is lot of problems there but I have to do some more modeling and texturing. And do not know If I make it in time. So...

from what i see, you are using vray right ? fur you did , with ornatrix ? or 'classic' maxhairs ?

Hi Stefan! Congrats with the movie! :) kind of black humour.

I was really interested in fur. It actually look great! I see it's Ornatrix. I tried working with old 1.7 and vray for max 2012 .

Maybe you give me some tip?

I saw in your "making of" there's some mesh controlling the hair? Is that some modifier?
Also how many hair do you have there per person? :)

it is for Ornatrix OX hair shell. I created main strands based on vertexes. Groomed it. Then offseted copy of mesh based on position on strands. And used it with OX hair shell.

how many hair do you have there per person
500 000 - 600 000.

Hey, thanks! It's just pricelss tips! :) Wish you luck with competition!

PS: I actually did the other way - created reference of my skinned mesh, applied "morpher to it" and used as Shell. So hair behaviour could be controlled by morphs through "hair shell".
Ofcourse I can only model hair by changing shell not by grooming like you did.:).
