I was fortunate enough to be in the audience at the National Film Theatre for a similar evening, with Mr Harryhausen in conversation with Nick Park which was a wonderful. They talked about Ray's life and work for about an hour and a half and Mr Harryhausen was his usual laconic self.

They also showed Jason and The Argonauts on the NFT's biggest screen which AMAZING. One of my favourite movies (love any kind of ancient Greek type thing) and on the big screen it's even better. There seems to be a new print of it (looked very clean - in great shape) so if it travels o your part of the world try get to see it, you won't be disappointed.

Just thought it might be worth mentioning again (in a thread which I haven't mangled so hideously) that Harryhausen's semi-autobiography Ray Harryhausen: An Animated Life is already out in the UK and will be released in the US in April.
