View Full Version : scale groups
Zoogie 12-08-2003, 02:27 AM Hi,
I have a character whose eyes are separate. wearing a cap. I try to scale all the objects at the same time and they are scaled, but pull atpart(are scaled individually.
Is there any way to grooup objects , or scale them as a group?

If you combine the objects (body menu>combine) they will scale as one object but you'll lose their name when you seperate them again - Baz

Thanks BazC.
That should work.

Alternatively:
Do a vector op - this 'forces' all objects to be referenced to an origin of your choice - not a selection centre calculated by wings.
Select all objects (don't combine)
Scale, and use RMB option
Click on a suitable origin
Drag and accept
Won't lose names this way :)
Can use the same approach with other 'group' commands - like Rotate, btw.
