View Full Version : Exporting sculpt map

Hi there,

I have a file with a shape that has the Multiresolution modifier and has been sculpted.

I want to export it and import it to another Blender file, that contains my whole scene, but as I import it, the modifier exists but without the sculpt map.

How can I export and import it without loosing the sculpt map?

you have to append the mesh also, which contains the vertices information. not only the object. so append the object, then the mesh,then select your object and in the vertex panel of that object(with the modifier), click on the little triangle vertices, and choose the newly appended mesh. you should see your "sculpt map" transformation appear automatically.
