Ok, i think you have a good sketch in the third drawing. I see you have a good line work, but you need more consistency in the others. Try keeping the drawing more "clean", by using less lines in parts that dont need them. It will make your sketches look better.
Dont take me wrong too, but itīs important to have a good presentatio of your work, even if its something you just want to show off. Take more care when scanning your next works, it helps a lot on the first impression you make in your work viewrs.
Thats my opinion. Hope to have helped a bit;)

I have to say I disagree with Norante, I think the first drawing is by far the best, in fact I think it's great. I don't necessarily think that clean linework equals good drawing. It's a skill that greatly compliments certain styles, but from what I see here, floatingrunner's style is a lot more gestural.
The first sketch has an effortless charm to it that I feel clean tidy linework would rob it of. The third and fourth sketch seem a little constrained to me, as if you're trying to conform to a style that is not your own. My advice would be to find your own unique and natural way of drawing, and your first sketch seems the most natural to me.

thank you..
yea, the 4th (and 2nd actually) is my attempt of trying a new style of drawing. derived from the 3rd one. put into an analogy - i was trying to go for the ''nightmare before x-mas'' style (which i deny, but best example)
thanx for pointing out the problems.

I suggest you download the online version of Andrew Loomis's "Figure Drawing for All It's Worth." Several websites have it, so a quick search will get at least one hit.
