After one year and half, my short film MOTOBOY is finally online in my new Vimeo page. This short was nominated for Best Direction and Best Comedy in the Epidemic Film Festival 2011 in San Francisco.
A fast, furious and fun homage to japanese animation and cyberpunk literature with a little bit of Brazilian flavor.
Synopsis:
In a dystopic near future, a bike delivery boy has to fight mutants through the radioactive part of the city to deliver his package. But his biggest challenge will actually be his annoying client.

I’m personally a huge fan of Japanese anime, but not so familiar with cyberpunk. So this short is kind of unique in my view. It also reminds me of a recently released movie Tai Chi, which is directed by a Hong Kong director named Stephen Fung (no idea you've heard about it or not, but i guess you may like it). Love your background music and the Manga. It’s very interesting! Good work!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! Please share with your friends if possible.
I think the anime influence is more obvious than the cyberpunk one (obvious nod to Snow Crash in the overall concept) but I've tried to make a film that is fun even if you don't know either anime or cyberpunk. I hope I did it.
About Tai Chi 0, I've never seen the movie, but after you posted I googled it and it seems a very interesting movie, right up my alley - chinese martial arts and steampunk. I'll definitely check it out!
