Does someone have a "deep" tutorial on how to use those cps controls ?
I've checked out the main site, and after viewing some tutorials i am still left with a questionmark on how and what some of those features are used for best...

Exactly.. the mirror tool is something i "saw" someone do it, otherwise i wouldn't have know it existence ! :)
Anyway....is it possible to make modeling easier by having a sub-d version and a poly version of the model in side-by-side view , with the use of CPS ?
i mean....i vagely hear that people use this modeling method and i'm not really sure if it was through cps or through default Maya settings..

Yep. Side by side or atop. Just grab the smooth or cage model and move it.

Uhm.... i lost you there....
remember when i said and asked for a tutorial of some sort which can give me pointers on what all those icons do ??
welll uhm...
heheh..
it's nice to know that it's possible, it's even BETTER if i know HOW to do it :)
I think he just means that you grab AKA select (;)) either the smoothed subdiv -like version of the model, or the polygon cage you edit, and then just move either one with the movetool.
