Inspired heavily by Frazetta and like always, by my pal Jon Foster.

Great picture as all of your robot pics.

Well only 2 replies..... think about how many replies you wrote looking on your post count.
Some people wonder why they get no replies but they themselves never write any.

There's nothing really more I can say about your painting style other than it's captivating. Another nice addition to your gallery.

Another splendid picture!

Only comments would be that it really does look as though that branch/root extending to the foreground is one of his legs.

Oh, and If you ever make a book - I will buy 5 copies!

Very nice atmosphere. Excellent composition. Your use of color is superb.

The topic is certainly strange, but I like it.

When will we see a 3D version of you robots?:) I really like the composition of your pictures, but I'd like more play on different pespectives (viewpoint).

It was bumped because of the Cane Toad plug. Sorry Imphead wish I could give it more airtime.

Thanks all for the wonderful comments on my piece.

Lildragon- Thanks again for the plug (as brief as it was ;) I really do appreciate it.

Phil- Though I do do 3D at work it's not my medium of choice. I was trained as an illustrator and so when not forced into 3D I spend all my waking hours in the 2D world. Maybe someday I'll do up one of these boys as a 3D piece, but for the time being you'll have to be satisfied with the one perspective... Though it does bring to mind that there are a couple of other artists on this board that have requested to do my images in 3D. Perhaps you'll see one of my robots in 3D sooner than you think!

I absolutely forgot to respond to this one like I had intended to. I opened it up yesterday when a friend came over, and we were honestly just staring at the image.

I just love it. Simply love it. Love the colours, and especially the trees, and the idea of it is gorgeous, as well. Stunning, inspiring work: now I want to go paint a forest again.

Gotta go check your site again. Sorry I didn't post on this earlier, just happened to see your 'name' on the board tonight.

Enayla- Actually I was going to respond to your recent post (Calamity of Touch.) too and have yet to get around to it so it's a wash. :)

I do so love your subtlety of stroke and color as well as adeptness with the medium.

illustr8rx- Thanks man... You should ditch work and draw robots!

very good work.

That robot looks almost exactly like the IG-88 from Star Wars :)
