that's a very stylish composition, seems quite promising. and the color tones you've chosen are ideal for that particular scene
what are those planes in the air? flyswatters ? :P
no comments for now, would like to see more of it

thanks for your opinion, this it is a sketch with little detail, in the modeled one I am going to add some changes. The (flyswatters)
are.... strange alien formations.
I am going to add another variant of the sketch soon.
greetings!!

I have to say I'd go for the first one. I like it much better, though I cannot say with certainty what it is exactly.
will you be modelling it?
Smooth-Criminal

I think the same, maybe the colors are the key.
I have some models and textures for the weekend I hope to put some and I wait for your opinion.
greetings!!

I really like the look of the stones in your texturing image. Looks like an Aardman style texture. The blue glow is a nice effect too.

the worm-like, tube-plants look even nicer in wireframe
and the whole scene reminds me a bit of the classic "Prince of Persia"

Great modeling, and I especially like the blue-glows. Maybe try adding a little overgrowth or some other detail to break up the cobbled-stones ground area, or maybe add some shadows going across, something to break up the repetition that you do so well in the rest of the image. I'm definitely looking foreward to see the foreground and backgrounds together ;) Keep up the good work.

hope this will help you.
i provided meself with my own checklist. and answered it myself as well. you can read through it and ask yourself the same question.
ALIENWARE SCENE CHECKLIST of chino as of dec 30 2003
You are standing on some unknown alien setting. – working on it
This location seems to be whispering to you, you have a feeling that something was created here
; maybe even the land itself is alive. – hmmm so,so
The location seems unpopulated, but not necessarily abandoned or neglected, nor rusting or decaying, - check, done
but life forms are inexistent. – then what the hell is that squid doin up there…prolly a monument of some sort...okay no need to fret, it's just a statue.
The location where you stand seems to be moving and it is difficult to comprehend its function or intent. – wip. boy, oh boy this needs some serious imagination.
The surfaces and materials that surround you are nothing like you have ever seen before. – roger, i myself have not seen them b4.
The design and layout of the location defies logic or the laws of physics, though only slightly,
it seems that reality here is somewhat obscure. – alrighty then
You feel a sense of grandness and awe, your breath is coming in short tight gasps from witnessing this alien phenomenon as it starts to overwhelm you. – that’s not for me to decide
You cry out, "Is anyone there?- - shhhh, shut your trap, you might wake-up that squid that got stuck in the hole!
good luck and do remember....

Hey this is looking really good. Now that I see the other levels of middle and background it is amazing. One of my favorite entries. Out of curiosity...how did you model the leaves? Did you write a script to create them? That would have been my approach as I am not patient enough to model each one by hand.
Love the lighting too. I think that you will do well in this competition.
:applause:
Hi
I realy like the concept too.
And I also agree with DOF.
Best luck:thumbsup:  :wavey:

Hi Gerardo absolutely awesome work. I like all the detail in the vegitation. One of the things I love about 3D is that you can create you own world, and I think your pix has done that, it makes me want to wander around and explore.
Hi man.
I love your final piece, like riki said, apsolutaly beautiful,
the colors, the fog, the arrangements, all of it.
Best luck of all:thumbsup:   :wavey:
