This is my first try at game modeling....actually, second model overall, been using maya seriously for 2 month.
He s now 5606 triangles, our limit is around 6000-6500. So i think i still have enough for his huge sword and his shoulder plate.

Update: I just took my time to fix my model, sigh, didnt know modeling has that much rules ... Here the new pics 4948 triangles

do u mean merge unnecessary vertex??

you have tons of unecessary faces especially on the back. welding a few vertices could do the job. you might need to remake some faces too, and make a few cuts here and there to get your edges flowing more properly. Pretty cool design tho.

cool design. You've got some open loops though that need to be closed up. As in the lines forming polygons make a "T". That deforms poorly for animations.

Thx people, I think i got the idea of weilding stuff after reading some tutorials, as u can see, this is the first time i do 3d modeling, ill see what i can fix and post it again tonite...
