Hi,

This is an old rendition of Iron Maiden's Eddie, that I did sometime ago.

This one is pencil on paper. It came almost by accident..
Anyway, any critics will be welcome.

Maybe I'm seeing things but did you do alot of cross hatching for shading on his clothing? I like that...I'm always disapointed with my drawings because everything appears too smooth. I'll have to try that. :)

Yes I did. Too bad the scan is not very good, there are a lot of detail thats gone...:shrug:

(For better quality: convert to grayscale -> play with the curves a little bit ->back to RGB. That will do the trick, I've tried it with it ;) )

Looks cool! The only thing that tripped me out was this optical illusion going on with it (also called a tangent), I know he has a torn flag in his fist, but when i first glanced at it, it looked like a nazi bag of something he was pulling out of his hollow leg. Do you see it?
Maybe its me because its late :surprised

man that sketch is so good, how long did it take you?

Wacom_Knight: Yeah, now that you mention it... Itīs something I could not deal with, since I only saw my mistake when the drawing was done :p . I think we can live with it?

Robins 2001: I donīt remember how much time exactly, but Iīm sure it was around 3 hours. I used no reference. i was just listening some IronMaiden and started drawing his face. Soon, the whole idea came and I made the rest. Quite unexpected...
