I'm Sheng and I'm new here, although I've been playing around with Zbrush on and off for the past year. Anyway, I have a newbie question that I haven't been able to find through a lengthy search through the internet.
My goal is to build models for games and movies, so I heard that adaptive skins were the preferred skin for animating. I built a basic armature, added some zspheres, and pressed the preview button on the adaptive skin tab. The problem is; I'm getting these odd, creased holes in my model when I go to smooth it. I have a feeling that they're related to the armature positioning.
I've included some pictures. Thanks for checking this thread out, and here's to hoping for an epic first step into the 3d modeling industry.
