Hello! Newbie to these forums here.

I am considering upgrading my video card from a Geforce GTX260. I do a lot of 2D work in Flash, Photoshop and AfterEffects on a Cintiq, and was hoping to maybe get a little more bang for my buck out of a three year old system that has 6Gb of RAM and an i7. I don't do 3D CGI work so that isn't a consideration here. This is mainly to get a bit more pep into my normal work flow.

I was considering a low-end Quadro card particularly the 600. I guess my question is will I see any performance boost at all? Thanks!

Probably not: 2d software barely uses the graphics card. You'd probably get a boost by upgrading the RAM to eight or twelve GB, though.
