this is (like most of my images) quick sketched with pencil then scanned and coloured with Photoshop. The main focus lies on the character and the background is just quickly drawn to add to the overall mood.
Time used ~8h

Wow nice and dark. Looks good!! :thumbsup:

A little crit though. the shading on the bottom part of the sword looks a little confuced. Also the way he clutches the sword, almost make one expect blood dripping.

HaHa.. Just a little though. Cheers.

Very good, but I would really like to see a detailed background on this one... Maybe just a wall or something. Good job :thumbsup:

i love the idea of your "hero" as this retired middle aged guy still trippin on the fact that hes a hero...nice i love illustrated werk that has a sense of meaning (am i anywhere close to its actual meaning)...what did you use to paint it

@darkSy: one moment I thought about blood on the blade, but It didnt make too much sense I think. (and also it was done so often before)
The sword could use some rework. I focused mainly on the face and the hands of the characters, but the sword is too prominent to be disregard this way.

@The Hustle: youre quite close. the whole artwork was ment to transport the mood of a morbid RPG.
