Hi!

How do I do to put on Decals on an object.

I´m modeling a F1 car and they are full of diffrent company loggos and stuff like that.

I was told to use UVW maps with difrent map Nr (or what it was).
I get the loggo on the car but how do i do to get the "Main Color Material" to be on the car the same time.

Plz write if you dont understand the question.

There are different ways...and one would be to use the composite map.

and another way would be to clone the surface where there is a decal, and extrude the faces out by local normal, about .1 inch or so, and cut out the parts you don't need. then uvw map that and make sure it's the material subobject ID of the decals... though that is more of the video game way of doing it... composite maps could possibly look better

The first section in the tutorial manual (wine bottle) shows 2 different ways to apply decals... you might want to refer to that.
