View Full Version : After Trimming, why does surface look like having much more spans????

In fact, the nurbs surface has only 5 spans.

What happens if you hit 1 on the keyboard?

Oh, when I hit 1, things look right! the trimed surface look just like this way? hit 1, it appears the actual spans, hit 3, more spans? is that right?

1 2 and 3 show different levels of res on nurbs surfaces.. I don't recall if making a trim sets it to 3 but I normally model with 3 on most of the time.

you know, in smooth shade mode (hit 5), the normal surface appears the actual spans no matter you hit 1 2 or 3. but on trimed surface I think it looks a little diffent as I said above. hehe, it seems not a problem now. I have understood.
