CGTalk - What do I do first?

Hi

My name is eric, and i am from Brazil.
unfortunately we don't have courses that involve game development of any kind, from Game art desing to game programming.
My question is, there is some way that i can learn to make games? I am studing Computer Science and I intend to have a complementary course somewhere. do You guys have some advice?
